The All Progressives Congress has revealed why it was defeated in the 16th July 2022 governorship election in Osun State.
Recall that the candidate of the ruling party and incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola lost to Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party.
APC Deputy National Organising Secretary, Hon Nze Chidi Duru while reviewing the outcome of the election said the party has accepted the result of the election.
Duru noted that the ruling party might have lost the election because the people of Osun State wanted a change in government.
The APC Chieftain claimed that the party tried mobilising all their governors to the state, but it did not yield the expected result.
He, however, stated that APC is prepared and ready for the 2023 general elections.
