Killings: Don’t Blame Me For Keeping Silence, Pastor Adeboye Tells Critics

… Says I Am A Man Under Authority

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCCG, Pastor E.A Adeboye has said the Nigerians expecting his comments on the killings by fulani herdsmen should stop blaming him, saying he his a man under authority.

According to him: “I have received so many phone calls and I have also received so many text messages from Nigerians, demanding that I have not spoken about the killings going on in our country.

“I am a man under authority. The Christians in Nigeria have a body. The body is Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN. Therefore, whatever the President of CAN says, that is what I have said.

“The Pentecostals also have a President as the head. Whatever our President says, that is what I have said.

Speaking further, the cleric added that: “This night, I urge all of you here to pray just like the way you prayed against the kidnappers last year and God answered immediately. We would also pray against those who are killing people at will for God to expose, disgrace and destroy all of them and their sponsors.”

“I am adding here that all of you should get your Permanent Voters Card, PVC in preparation for 2019 elections,” Adeboye concluded.
