The Director General of the National Support for Atiku Mandate NSFAM, Ambassador Rowland Odih, has said that he has kept the promise he made to the leaders of Atiku support groups in May 2019 at the Secretariat of the Organization.
He made this disclosure on this return from Dubai where he and other executives members of the party met with His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar.
At the meeting, Rowland promised the leadership of the groups that he would ensure that His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) speak to his supporters, a promise which he said has been kept.
Recently, the former vice president spoke to his supporters through a short video that is currently trending on social media, the video was recorded with the effort of the Mandate group.
In the video, Atiku thanked his supporters for their support before and after the general elections and assured that he will continue to provide them with the required leadership.
“I have never seen Nigeria badly managed in all my life as of today. So I want to appeal to you to continue this struggle until our mandate is determined by the Judiciary”, Atiku said.
He however concluded that: “We believe the Nigeria Judiciary is the best and the bedrock of Judiciary in Africa. Some of you may not know that the Nigerian Judiciary has provided Judges and Lawyers to various African Countries, we have the best.
“We have confidence in the Nigerian Judiciary and we believe that they are not going to disappoint us. They are not going to disappoint Nigerians and they are not going to disappoint Africans.”
The speech by Atiku has brightened the mood of all his supporters who have been craving for such address and this will, surely, give his supporters the needed motivation to continue to demand that the Judiciary give fair judgement and return back the mandate stolen from the people to the former Vice President.
According to the DG of the National Support for Atiku Mandate, “there is no better time to unite for the purpose of reclaiming the Mandate of the people and demanding for justice.”
Rowland however called on all the various Atiku support groups to join hands with him as the struggle to reclaim the mandate of the people is getting tougher by the day.
