Chairman of Ekiti State Chapter of EKSU Alumni, Mr. Oso Adedeji has congratulated Alumnus members who are Moslems at Eld-el-Fitr.
The Chairman, who said Nigeria as a country is enmeshed in cultural and religious contraption, added that the country can only trend on unity and peaceful co-existence amongst citizenry.
Comr. Oso Adedeji said this in a phone conversation with our correspondent on Thursday.
He said: “I congratulate our Moslem brethren on the completion of their fasting.
“We must take cognisance of this period and sue for the peace of Nigeria. Nigeria is no doubt passing through difficult time that only unity in her diversity can sustain her from untimely collapse.”
Speaking further, Oso said there was strength in oneness irrespective of religion, cultural and political differences.
“As an Association, we find solace in a peaceful co-existence of our members,” he concluded.
