Death Of Makinde’s Mother A Big Loss To Oyo State, South-West PDP – Eleka

The former deputy governor of Ekiti State, Prof. Kolapo Olusola Eleka has described the late mother of the Governor of Oyo State, Mama Abigail Makinde as a woman that lived a fulfilled and impactful life while here on earth.

In a condolence message personally signed by the Ex-deputy governor, he commiserated with the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the death of his mother.

Eleka said the demise of Mama Abigail, at this critical time, is not only a loss to Makinde’s family, Oyo state people but the entire members of PDP in Southwest and Nigeria at large.

He noted that although Mama has gone to rest in the bosom of the Lord, her indispensable memories, good deeds and impactful exploits will never be forgotten.

“It is my hope that my brother and friend, Engr. Seyi Makinde takes solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life and also witnessed giant strides of his government in Oyo state before she passed on

“History will forever be kind to a loving, caring, generous and hard-working mother who strived to give her children good background.

“I am calling on good people of Oyo state and People’s Democratic Party never to relent in supporting Seyi Makinde’s government, Eleka prayed that God Almighty would comfort the family of the deceased during this time of grief.

“We are wishing her farewell in her journey to eternity with a deserved peaceful rest. I pray that God Almighty will give the entire family of Makindes the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Eleka noted.
